For over 35 years, our local grassroots organization has worked to help protect what you love about our Shore Home. We have no endowment or a larger, national organization to keep us going. CBES continues only if YOU, our members, support our work.

A gift in honor or memory of a special person is a wonderful way to pay them tribute – while sharing your love for the Eastern Shore through CBES.

Honorees or their next of kin will receive a notification of your donation and will be recognized in CBES Annual Giving.

ESTATE PLANNING

You can make a gift in your estate plan by naming Citizens for a Better Eastern Shore as a primary or contingent beneficiary of your life insurance policy, retirement plan, financial accounts, personal property, real estate or other assets. There is no minimum gift. With a bequest you can leave a percentage of your estate or other assets.

Making a planned gift may provide tax savings or reduce the tax burden for your heirs. CBES recommends you consult with your financial or tax advisor and attorney or estate planner when establishing or revising your estate plans.
